Ice House Netherlands in Amsterdam has introduced its first solution, Scan to buy – using QR and narrowcasting – at the international retail fair Eurocis in Düsseldorf, Germany at the end of February. This solution creates a direct link between the item shown in the ad and that same item shown in the webshop. The new tool directs instantly from media to webshop, using the mobile camera and QR code. It is the first solution of a framework platform for O2O retail, with which Ice House Netherlands aims to build a bridge between technological solutions for retail, and the consumer.
